Josh Altman is a $30 million real estate agent and reality television personality from the United States. Josh Altman is one of the most successful real estate brokers in the country, specializing in houses in the “Platinum Triangle” of Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills, and Bel Air.
Josh Altman was born in Newton, Massachusetts, on March 10, 1979. Josh grew up in a Jewish home and had his Bar Mitzvah both in the United States and in Israel. He attended Syracuse University after graduating from Newton South High School in 1997, where he got a degree in Speech Communications (in 2001) while also playing kicker for the school’s football team. He did not participate in any of the school’s sporting events. Josh relocated to Los Angeles after graduating from Syracuse and began his real estate business by flipping residences.
Josh began his career as a real estate speculator and flipper. Altman was able to flip eight residences without ever losing money. He managed a real estate financing firm for three years before joining his brother, Matt Altman, at the real estate agency Hilton & Hyland to establish The Altman Brothers. The firm specializes in selling homes in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Holmby Hills, sometimes known as the “golden triangle.” He and his brother sold nearly $100 million in real estate while running The Altman Brothers real estate brokerage. They represented actors, sportsmen, and other entertainment business figures. Altman sold $40 million worth of homes while at Hilton & Hyland, including a $16.5 million property in Beverly Hills.This is the sixth-highest selling in the city’s history.
Along with co-stars Josh Flagg and Madison Hildebrand, Altman features in the reality television show Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles. The show follows three Los Angeles-based real estate salespeople as they offer high-end, exorbitantly priced houses to celebrities and other rich individuals.
Josh Altman announced his engagement to Heather Bilyeu, his Million Dollar Listing co-star, in July 2013. They postponed their wedding but were able to work things out. They married in April 2017 and had a daughter, Alexis, in April 2017 and a boy, Ace, in April 2019.
Altman’s net worth is believed to be $30 million. Following his graduation from Syracuse, he began earning money by purchasing and flipping homes, which led him into the real estate market. In 2017, he allegedly advertised his Hollywood property for $8 million.
